1.
Malm 03:37
Look at my hands Aren’t they raw? Don’t you feel bad For me?
2.
I don’t need a runaround What’s the plan to get this off the ground? Wanna keep it moving forward Whip your head back, keep your neck cracked I’m sick, I’m sick, I’m nervous Can’t figure out a way to rehearse this Leave it to a professional Ask me about my childhood, ask me if I’m better now
3.
Time & Place 01:55
Carefully, I choose my words My phone’s been on do not disturb Please understand, I can’t engage At least not at this time and place In spite of myself I try
4.
Hook 02:50
I know you got your ride or die clique And I’m just your side chick I wait in the wings like a dumb bul I keep on waiting for you to call You’re friends are much cooler One dude’s name is Bruiser But he can’t come through Late night matzoh ball soup I’ll keep checking on your schedule We can make time, I’ll put lead through it I keep on waiting for you Let me try to explain how I feel I thought casual was nice, nothing real But this itch won’t go away You’re a fabulous lay But I kinda, sorta, also just can’t stop thinking about you
5.
I have friends in high places And they get me nowhere And they get me, no Look at the way I’m begging down here I can’t believe that it’s been a year Since I bent myself around you What's the big idea?
6.
Marbles 01:35
I’d die to lie inside a hole considering my grave The beast beckoning forth beside me glances by mistake Now I’m tipped off to the plan with a deafening quake I’ve recouped my marbles, crafted pathways, all to keep it fake
7.
Catch me feeling like I don’t belong Catch me wondering if its been too long I couldn’t see past the things I’ve done wrong I can’t believe that this pain makes me strong If I’m lost in thought bring me back down There’s a hundred million ways to forget that I’ve been down here before I’ve been down here before I’ve been down here before Let’s go down once more Keep me out my head, Keep me out my head Please don’t blame me if I ask you to repeat what you just said I was just imagining what it would be like to be dead
8.
Peel 02:18
Let me show you baby that I’m worth your time Can you teach me baby how to stay in line Make it tighter the more I beg to unwind I’m soft in the middle, just peel back the rind Make yourself at home baby while I take a slip Into something comfortable before we make this trip To the surgeon’s table where you’ll try to keep your grip As you slice me open from my sternum to my hip
9.
I let you grow too far away from me I let you know that I’ve been a horrible cheat I guess you were wondering what it could’ve been like to see What it will be like to finally breathe
10.
Parties 04:03
You tryna get me alone I’m tryna stay on the phone Leave me alone while I scroll Keep my head down so you know Don’t feel like talking tonight Weed isn’t helping alright Leave me alone while I scroll Keep my head down so you know I don’t wanna be here anymore At this party with these people, I’ma head for the door Jesus fucking christ, can you just let me through? I don’t give a fuck about anything involving you

about

GS026

Following nearly three years of silence and a battle with anxiety disorder, Moon Bounce returns with his sophomore full-length LP, Skip Intro, a memento of panic-ridden ruminations. Combining soulful melodies, jilted percussion and hyper-controlled synthesis, the album does not shy away from difficult topics, bringing listeners into the darkness as Regensburg unabashedly confronts himself.

Moon Bounce’s signature sound is still intact and more pristine than ever; obtuse rhythms, helium-soaked vocals and larger-than-life production create an immersive environment where lyrics like “please don’t blame me if I ask you to repeat what you just said, I was just imagining what it would be like to be dead” are repeated with a cheery disposition. You might want to laugh or you might want to cry but it’s this deadpan realism that makes Regensburg’s music so relatable and anything but one-dimensional.

I would like to express my endless gratitude and love to my grind captain, Jeremy Garber, and our fearless tech lord, Kyle Stetz, for being the best label team in the game and even better friends. I most definitely wouldn’t be here without your support and encouragement. To my lovely and nurturing parents, Sharman and Ed Regensburg, for giving me the emotional depth of a sunken ship and the tools to excavate it. To Nicola Bruce, my creative partner, wife, lover, and cultural attaché, how I love you! To Troy Curtis Kreiner, my fearless art director, bestie, and fellow thicc boy in LA, thank you for your vision! Additional and endless thanks to Zach Trebino, Darin Vartanian, Lena Weisbrot, Tavi Shabestari and the whole team at Domino Publishing, Tommy Lee, Jake Regensburg, Danny Moon, Bethany Vargas, and Keyla Marquez.
